Romania Mission Work Fall 2012
Made a 2.5 week trip and went to Bucharest, Romania. I wanted to try and get my foot in the door for the up coming Air Force base that will be just outside of Caracal. It is my prayer and hope to start a congregation there some day. It will be a great benefit to those who would normally travel to Craiova. I did not go to Wurzburg, Germany this year but will do so in September of next year, God willing. The church in Wiesbaden is becoming smaller as far as American Christians. There are many United States military installations being closed and this means of course fewer troops right now. Weisbaden will be US Central command for all of Europe in the next two years. This means there will be many more Americans stationed there. This will be good for the church as well. I met with different couples on several occasions and I also met with four individuals on several occasions. I left needing to meet with one couple and one individual but just did not have the time. God, willing, I am planning to make trips to both Romania and Germany in 2013 and I plan to spend three weeks at each place. Much more can be done and accomplished. I thank God for this opportunity and for those who pray for me and help me. I am very grateful and words cannot express my feelings and appreciation as I wish, and words will never be able to do so.
Germany Mission Work Spring 2012
In 2011 Jimmy went to Wiesbaden and had several long Bible studies with Americans, a German woman and woman from Cambodia who was a non-Christian. He also preached the Sunday he was there and this was coupled with counseling. It was the most productive trip he has made so far. Jimmy also held a gospel meeting and did more counseling in Wurzburg. It was well attended by the Americans and Germans.
This year Jimmy left on August 30. He has been in contact with the Christians in Wiesbaden. They are ready for him to come and be with them. He will not go to Wurzburg this year for there is only one American remaining. Jimmy will visit with a man who can give him good contacts about the new Air Force base in Romania. This is wonderful for we hope to get a congregation started there in the next two to three years. Jimmy has a lot scheduled and a short time to get it all done. He would like to thank everyone who has helped and asks for your prayers as we reach out to our fellow Christians and non-Christians alike in Europe.
